No Chapel
In honor of Brennen Asam and his family, WCS will be having a prayer/worship/memorial service this Tuesday (12/1). We will not be having our usual chapel this week (11/30 to 12/4). Please be in earnest prayer for the Asam family, as well as those affected by this tragedy.
We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You.

IMPORTANT REMINDER
There is no chapel this week, the CBU Women’s Choral will be performing for us. However, we are having rehearsal this week (11/9 to 11/13) to learn two new songs. On Tuesday (11/10) there will only be band rehearsal, and on Thursday (11/12) there will be both band/vocal rehearsal. All rehearsals begin promptly at 7:00am. I have also decided to have a band only rehearsal this Tuesday (11/17) at 7:00am as well. We will return to chapel on November 19.

Just wanna start off by saying all you guys did GREAT this week! I’m so proud of all the hard work you’ve put into worshiping our Heavenly Father! Now we have another week ahead of us, it’s going to be awesome. =)

Spiritual Emphasis Week
Hello worship team!
We have had quite a hectic week, learning three entirely new songs… and they sound great! I want to personally thank those who have been disciplined and working hard to be at all the practices on time and learn the songs in your own time. It definitely makes a difference when we come together to practice, and it simply makes things go by much smoother. I encourage all of you to do just that, as we are here to serve Christ Jesus; to do our very best for Him with our gifts and talents.
Alright, enough with that, I want to explain exactly what is in store for this coming week, Spiritual Emphasis Week (10/5 to 10/9). It’s gonna be a busy week, but I’m really looking forward to seeing the Lord work in our school. On Monday (10/5) we will have chapel with Group #2 singing (call time: 7:30am). Tuesday (10/6) will be rehearsal at 7:00am for musicians and 7:40am for vocalists. Then Wednesday (10/7) will be another chapel, with the same call time, except with Group #3. The next day, Thursday (10/8), will be rehearsal, same time. Our last day, Friday, will end with Group #1 (10/9). I ask that everyone would please come to each rehearsal.
I don’t really mean to sound like your parents, but it is crucial that you all get enough sleep this week in order that we may come in each day with focused minds and hearts ready to hear from the Lord. I will definitely make an effort this week to be available for any questions you guys have, so please don’t hesitate to call or email me.
